Stories for every age: Bal, Jigyasu and Shishya
The same deities come back at each age, a little deeper each time: first as friendly figures, then through their stories, then through what those stories mean.
Bal: ages 2 to 3
Short, picture-led stories of one to three minutes, made to be heard, with large text and gentle narration. A parent stays close, often at bedtime or during puja.
Jigyasu: ages 3 to 6
The age of endless questions. Full stories with read-along highlighting, and small “why” side trips that always bring the child back to the page they left.
Shishya: ages 6 to 10
Epics told in episodes, moral dilemmas, and the meaning of each word in a mantra. The screens are calmer and more grown-up, so older children don't feel talked down to.
Nothing too much, nothing too simple
At every stage, the context and tone of a story are set to suit your child's age. See the Dadi Promise and child safety, or start with stories.
