Utsav: Hindu festivals for kids

Every festival has its own page, so your child knows why we light diyas on Diwali or tie a rakhi, and not only that we do.

What each festival page has

The story behind the festival.
What families do on the day.
A mantra or aarti that goes with it.
A simple activity to do together.

More to explore

Read the stories behind each festival, learn its mantra or aarti, and see the values it teaches.
